WhatsApp’s impending support for video calling appears to be closer to launch. According to new reports, the feature is now functional in some of the beta builds of the Android application, following its recent arrival in the Windows Phone version of the Facebook-owned messaging app. The iOS app was also updated just last week, but video calling support was not included at that time. The arrival of video calling on Android was first spotted by the blog  Android Police , which found that some users on the beta builds of the application were able to access video calling through an updated app interface. For those on a version of WhatsApp which includes video calling support, you’re able to tap the call button or tap on a contact card to kick off a video call. JAMB asks Senate to suspend three-year amendment Act Borno to reopen secondary schools next week The Joint Admission Board (JAMB) has appealed to the National Assembly to suspend the amendment of its Act. The Senate last week began amendment of the board’s Act to extend the validity of JAMB result by three years. In a statement in Abuja, JAMB’s Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, said the bill was a product of acrimony and if passed would be counter-productive. “An appeal has been made to the National Assembly to suspend the process of the amendment to allow the Board and tertiary institutions, including the Federal Ministry of Education and other stakeholders to go back to the roundtable for discussion at a conducive atmosphere, as all agreed to work together for the benefit of the Nigerian child,” the statement said. Oloyede also called on the Federal Government to revert to making a serving vice chancellor chairman of the governing board of JAMB for harmonious relationship. ...
